driftwood is now dead. I did this for a lot of reasons, I suppose, but needn't list them here. I will not delete this journal for various reasons, but I will no longer be updating it.
I've created a new journal. I've taken along the people who I thought would want to come and the bulk of the people I wanted to bring with me. If you haven't been contacted or seen a post from me about the new journal, don't be offended, Either I didn't read your journal much, you didn't post much or we never talked.

Going friends-only
So, it's come to this. I really didn't want to do this, but I am left with no choice. From here on in, my journal is friends only. I really do not need deranged crazy loons harrassing me. Also, I am going to be switching my AIM name, catch me on my old one if you want the new one [the old one will be wiped soon enough].

Close call...
I wrote this entry shortly before puking. Ughhh.... Reading it now makes me ill [the thought of food period does], but it still applies I suppose. I know whats wrong with me, and my diet is luckily not contributing. In fact, last time I went to the doctors, he said I was quite healthy probably because of it. Go me.
But I digress...

I was in the health food store today [one with many vegan options, luckily for me], and I was desperately searching for a vegan pizza that did NOT have casien in the soy cheese [casien is a milk protien, not vegan]. I found a soy cheese pizza pocket that made me drool. Of course, as I read the ingredients, it had casien in it. I was dissapointed, but kept coming back to it in the freezer section. Finally, I said "screw it" and grabbed it.
However, I got myself a vegan lentil "burger" wrap from the deli at the last minute and put the pizza pocket back. I had every intention on buying and eating it, thank goodness that I didn't. I admit that as a vegan, I had soy cheese with casien once in a very very weak moment. It is so much tasier than the soy cheese without of course.
Man though, did I want it. I posted over at the vegetarian and vegan boards for some advice on how to quench that craving. I have been missing pizza lately... No soy cheese without casien has come even close to making a good pizza...

However, I got myself a vegan lentil "burger" wrap from the deli at the last minute and put the pizza pocket back. I had every intention on buying and eating it, thank goodness that I didn't. I admit that as a vegan, I had soy cheese with casien once in a very very weak moment. It is so much tasier than the soy cheese without of course.
Man though, did I want it. I posted over at the vegetarian and vegan boards for some advice on how to quench that craving. I have been missing pizza lately... No soy cheese without casien has come even close to making a good pizza...

Right then, just sent out the MO for the rat cage. I filled out the order form online first, and sent the MO out before 5:00 [thats when they come to pick up the mail, so I hope it goes out today].
The sooner that cage comes, the better. Thanks to all for the tips for putting it together. We have some linolium down the basement to lay on the middle full level, but I am not worried about the balconies.
Babysitting tonight. Nice, should be fun. Might also get a few bucks out of the deal.

I am so tired. Meh. Watched Harry Potter last night with Theresa and ate nummy marinated artichoke hearts. Pardon me whilst I drool.
Hopefully, today I will be ordering that cage for the rats. Since it seems NO ONE in the WORLD has a damn credit or debit card and won't do me the favor of ordering it via there card and I'd just hand them the money right then and there [I'm not bitter...] I have to do it via snail mail, which means Tucker will be all alone even longer.
Poor wee lil baby, it bugs me. I want them all to live together. I have put Tucker in the cage to test it out and all seems to go well. i dare not leave him it though because it is entirely too small for three rats and I know that an enviroment that is too cramped is conducive to fighting.
Still, at least it will be ordered today. For anyone who is interested, I am getting a Martin R-690 PWDC coated cage.
In any event, I thank Jah, creator of all things, for guiding I lately... been trying times, but I survive only because of HIM. Jah bless....

Original name, I know, but I wanted something to represent my three squish boys. And, since Nigel and Miles are two big fat rats, and Tucker is definately on his way, it seemed appropriate.
Anyway, check out the gallery, as well as the forum, FAQ and other sections. Take the poll, or just have fun. The gallery is the best part so far I think. The Your Stories section doesn't really work yet, so ignore that, register, and let me how you like the site!
